McCains Sweat Potatoes - crop comparison

McCains Sweat Potatoes – Although the crop looked healthy from the ground the agronomists were shocked to see it from the air.

(Agronomists often specialize in areas such as crop rotation, irrigation and drainage, plant breeding, plant physiology, soil classification, soil fertility, weed control, and insect and pest control)

After identifying health problems in early growth stage, most of the crop was saved.

After identifiying the problem from the air, the crop was treated immediately

Notice the health improvement and hence the outcome of the yield should improve after early identification. If this was not identified early, the crop would have lost a large portion of its return on investment

Copperleaf Golf Course - 6th & 9th Fairway

We were able to determine the health of the fairways, unbeknown to the naked eye.

Using Near Infrared imagery, the fairway was analysed and treated accordingly
Using a Thermal image, the same evidence was conducted and the correct amount of water was used to improve the health of the grass

Bowling Green

The bowling club thought that their Green on the left, which was being used regularly, was healthier than the Green on the right. Both greens needed more attention than the club expected. The green keeper reacted quickly enough after the images were seen, to improve the health status of the grass and save the greens, which would have cost more in fertilizer if they hadn’t reacted quickly enough.
